Väinö Ylén’s home museum

Southern Finland, Western Finland, During opening hours, Home museum

Väinö Ylén’s home museum in Kodisjoki, Rauma, is the former home of ITE artist Väinö Ylén (1908–2000) and his wife Hilma. The house, the courtyard and the barn building have a fascinating exhibition of hundreds of concrete sculptures by Väinö Ylén. The sculptures tell about life in the past and the everyday environment of the artist’s family.
