Teuvo Jalonen’s half-hectare forest
Satakunta, Southern Finland, Western Finland, Whenever, ITE environment
Teuvo Jalonen from Pori is making his dream come true in the primeval forest in Lapijoki, Eurajoki. There is an untouched stand in the middle of the logging areas turned upside down, where rocks are covered by thick carpets of moss and beard moss hangs from the branches of large spruce trees. The artist intends to protect his forest and is also creating a concrete zoo there. As far there are five animal statues.
Hikers looking for some peace and quiet are welcome to enjoy the site’s magical atmosphere.
