Paula Huhtanen’s atelier

Pirkanmaa, During opening hours, Atelier

Welcome to visit the Vahalande Cultural Centre in the village of Sarkola in the Nokia countryside! The closed village school is living a new life there as an activity and event centre.

In Vahalande, you will find a studio where the ITE artist Paula Huhtanen, the driving force behind the founding of the cultural centre, works. The studio exhibition, which is open to the public, offers the opportunity to meet the artist and get to know her works.

In the immediate vicinity of Vahalande, you can also find Paula Huhtanen’s latest public artwork, Happy Bus Stop.

In 2020, Paula Huhtanen was the first ITE Artist of the Year, named by the Association for Rural Culture and Education.
