Mustila Arboretum Forest Gallery

Arboretum Mustila is a 120-hectare fairytale forest where the trees and shrubs of the future have been test-grown for 120 years.
In addition to hundreds of tree species and shrubs, the arboretum is especially known for azaleas and rhododendrons, of which there are almost 8,000 shrubs. The largest exotic trees are already over 40 metres tall.
Recently, a sculpture gallery has also been built in the park, which already houses more than a hundred wooden sculptures of different types of wood. Sculptures can be found by numerous leading chainsaw sculptors. A significant part of the collection is made by August Eskelinen, the Finnish Champion of Chainsaw Carving in 2024.
All the sculptures are placed in nature. The themes of the sculptures recur in animals and the mythology of the forest.
