Chapel of the Hauho Local History Museum and paintings by soldier Korler
Häme, Southern Finland, During opening hours, Museum
The Hauho Local History Museum presents the local way of life from many angles.
In the 1700s, the gallery paintings and other ecclesiastical objects by soldier Jonas Korler, which were taken out of use, eventually ended up forming a small “ITE chapel” within the museum. The paintings, which represent folk art, are in many ways reminiscent of today’s ITE art.
