Seija Hakala’s artefact collections at the Kärkölä Local History Museum

Häme, Southern Finland, During opening hours, Museum

The Kärkölä Local History Museum presents installations compiled from Seija Hakala‘s collections. Together with her late husband, Hakala started collecting grocery packaging. Over the years, the collections filled the courtyard buildings, and visitors were also interested in coming to see the interesting entity.

The artefact collections have now been moved to the Kärkölä Local History Museum in Huovila Park. There are 63 installations on display. Their themes include annual celebrations and anniversaries, as well as flag days. There are also threads from the artist’s own life events.
