Velipekka Lukka’s<\/em> iron sculptures on the Strömma Canal in the artist’s home yard were a landmark for passers-by for years. After the artist’s death at the beginning of 2026, a search for locations for the sculptures is underway. Some of the sculptures are already finding places where they can be seen by those on the road. We will update the information on the page as we receive clarifications. Velipekka Lukka’s stone and metal works can be found in the centre of Kimito in the courtyard of the town hall, church and library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
